Special thanks to Chris Hoffee & Steve Peavey, Shawn’s rendition of Wilco’s album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot came surprisingly close in atmosphere to the original. I say “surprisingly” because we didn’t expect to pull off recreating so many of the unusual timbres that were used. Obviously, an exact match would be unattainable, since the original album was a masterpiece that evolved out of special circumstances between inspired musicians.
