SILENT NIGHT for Double Bass

Just in time for Christmas, here’s my solo bass chord-melody for Silent Night. I started working on this this December as a Charlie Haden/Hank Jones inspired arrangement. The key of G creates a lot of opportunities to use for open strings and harmonics, so I quickly realized I could find ways for the bass to accompany itself throughout the melody.
