Photo by Tom Harten. This is a new project lead by John Reynolds (trumpet), and featuring Charlie Weller (drums), Doug Walker (bass), Paul Holtz (piano), and Peter August (tenor sax). Robert Bush of the San Diego Reader had this to say about our debut concert at 98 Bottles, which featured the music of Wynton Marsalis. We plan on adding to this repertory by paying tribute to a variety of influential jazz composers.
